Transactional sales and billing data had to be restructured and re-arranged in a format to allow for Sales Reporting

Reporting was on a monthly snapshot basis without timeline comparisons

Move to TM1. Too much data and wrong kind of data for TM1.
Solution
We used the TM1 cube design as guidelines for the SQL Server BI solution (SSAS).

Sometimes staying within a solution environment (all Microsoft versus Microsoft to IBM) can result in smoother solutions .
